Zelda is 25. Doesn't look a day over 23

Nintendo had their E3 presentation today and dropped some Major bombshells about many of their historic franchises. One of which was the plans for The Legend of Zelda's 25th anniversary celebration. The orchestra playing classic Zelda music was a nice way to show homage to one of the company's big guns. For the year of the Hylian, Each system out right now gets a different variation of The Legend of Zelda. The E-Shop gets Link's Awakening and that reports from the show say that should be available to download by the end of today. Ocarina of Time 3D will be on the 3DS and by Sept Four Swords will be available for the Dsi shop as a free download. As for Skyward Sword, It was revealed that it will be coming out for the Holiday season this year and a special Gold Wii-mote will be crafted as a special promo for the game. The orchestra on hand played into another 25th anniversary special event. Nintendo is going to hold special symphony concerts around the world to commemorate the anniversary. Two Soundtrack Cd's are going to be made to commemorate the 25th anniversary. Mr. Miyamota stated that the one soundtrack, for the Ocarina of Time music, will be available in limited numbers for the first people who register the game on the Club Nintendo web site and the other CD will be the Orchestra music from the concert. It looks like a great time for Zelda fans. The Soundtrack sounds like the best part. Music has always been a huge factor in Zelda games and its fitting that the 25th anniversary is going all out, from the games to the music, for a series that's special for Nintendo Fans.
