StreetPass with no clothes on. Wave of the Future! |
Let me start off by saying that I cracked and added Twitter to Nintentofive so now Nintentofive is in the Twitter Universe. Alright, now that that is taken care of, One feature of the 3DS that is garnering attention is the Street-Pass mode. It allows players to Transfer data such as Mii's to other 3DS users and they can use them for games such as "Find Mii," an exploration type game that you can collect Hats for your Mii characters to wear and show off to other people. From California to New Jersey, Street-Pass events have become the "sexy" thing to do among 3DS People. It's a way for system owners to collect different Mii's and a great way for people who share the same interests to get together and get to know people in the area that play 3DS games. StreetPass is also a way for people who are located in an area that doesn't have too much 3DS activity to get a Mii collection going and play Mii games. Games are already utilizing the StreetPass feature by allowing online battles and online interaction. Hopefully by the time more multi-player games come out, StreetPass will be used even more than it is now. Its a great way to get 3DS owners to bring their system everywhere. It will be interesting to see if the old games Nintendo decides to bring back into the fold either by E-shop or remastered in 3D will have StreetPass features. It would be cool to see Pokemon Blue with the old graphics and be able to trade online. Combine the past and present for the Pokemon franchise. The Street-Pass mode is something Nintendo tried before with Nintendogs but it didn't work too well but it looks like they have corrected their first attempt and made a real winner. It will be fun to see how games use the Street-Pass mode in the future. Mario Kart tournament at Citifield. It's a fun time for Nintendo and their newest handheld system/
