3D looks good on the "Hero of Time"

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time will be getting its call up to the Majors soon( June 19th) and from what I can see, it looks like it's going to help the 3DS get out of its "early season funk." By now I have come to accept the fact that Nintendo brings out several versions of their "Big Name" franchises with some minor tweaks and modifications to better the classics. Cue Ocarina of Time 3D. Adapt the Menu system for the touch screen and you now have the ability to easily change Iron Boots to Hover Boots in a flash or change your Tunic in no time flat. Personally I never minded pausing to put my Iron Boots on in the Water Temple about a million times, but it is a welcome change to the series. Another addition to the series is the Boss Mode. Boss fights are always memorable in a Zelda game and Ocarina of Time was no exception. If it wasn't the fight with Phantom Ganon, it was the one with Bongo Bongo. All the Boss battles are enjoyable in Zelda games and now you'll have the chance to relive some challenging fights. Nostalgia sells to people and giving a great game more content is always welcome in my eyes. Another welcome addition is the "Master Quest" saga of the game being included. A harder rendition of the greatest game of all time, what's not to like about that.  Now for the downside of the additions, Hint Videos. Zelda games rarely, if ever, help the player out. Why start with arguably the greatest game of all time. That's really the only thing I can't put my finger on why is it in this game. However you feel, the game looks great. Going back to Hyrule is going to be special for Old-School gamers and ones venturing into Hyrule for the first time. Its got Time Traveling and it's in 3D. What's not to like. Get that DeLorean up to 88 Miles per Hour and Prepare to fight for the Tri-Force in the Hell that has become Hyrule. Good Luck Heroes of Time, you'll need it.
