Club Nintendo
With the Club Nintendo year coming to a close at the end of June, it has me thinking that the Club Nintendo that is offered to Americans need a product update. You look at what the other Club Nintendo sites are offering and you realize that the American members are getting the short end. Various controllers that have special themes to go with them such as special colors or designs, Beach towels, and Game soundtracks just to name a few of the different products offered to areas not the United States. As a big Nintendo fan, I would love to have the chance to get soundtracks for games or a Golden Wii wheel rather than school folders or extra Wii remote wrist straps. The closest thing Club Nintendo of America has to a beach towel is Mario themed Wash-cloths. The Soundtrack that was included with Super Mario All Stars was a great idea and Nintendo should do more specialty things like that. The rewards at the end of the Club Nintendo year are great and more rewards should be on the same level as those. More "specialty" rewards would get more people to use the service. Club Nintendo is a place where you can get products you can't find anywhere else. I would just like a chance to get the same rewards as Club Nintendo Japan some of the time, it doesn't have to be all the rewards. I'm not hating on Club Nintendo, I just think the rewards should be a little more "rare" such as soundtracks or the little statue Platinum members got at the end of the last Club Nintendo year. The reward would mean more if it was harder to attain and it would have that "special" feel to it.
