Mario, You look different, it must be all that 3D on your Face

During the Nintendo portion of E3, we received some more information on games announced for the 3DS as well some new info just getting out. Mario Kart in 3D, what's not to like? It looks like Nintendo has gone all out for this Mario Kart with semi-custom karts with the ability to modify the wheels as well as being able to drive underwater. I think the thing that caught everyone off guard was when the karts started flying with help from a hang glider but still, Go-Karts flying is pretty cool. Mario Kart will be on a lot of Christmas lists when it comes out for the holiday rush. Another old friend is Star Fox, coming out in September. Players will be able to drive the  Arwing just by tilting the 3DS as well as using the normal button commands. Multi-player will be fun because with the use of the 3DS cameras, you will be able to see your opponent in air combat as well as their reaction when you shoot them down. Mario makes his solo 3DS debut in a classic looking Mario game. By the looks of it, Super Mario is a combination of Mario 1, Mario 3, and Mario 64. Level design with Mario 1, Power ups Mario 3, and controls and 3D feel with Mario 64. If the game is anywhere near what Mario 1,3, and 64 were, it's going to be one Hell of a game. Welcome back Tanooki suit, how we have missed you. It looks like a Tanooki suit aided return flight will have to wait til the end of the year. Kid Icarus finally got more details revealed today and those details didn't disappoint. The visuals of the game look great and the air combat looks cool but I feel the main details revealed today was online play as well as AR card photo capabilities. You will be able to battle with the AR cards as well. Maybe Pokemon will follow suit with that idea. Luigi's Mansion is finally getting a second chance and it looks great. The power of the 3DS will be able to give the mansions that ominous feel to them and give the darkness that creepy feel. It was mentioned that Luigi will have quite a few mansions to explore. Then something no one expected to hear. Super Smash Brothers is being developed for the 3DS as well as the Wii-U. That bit of information goes in the category of "Information let out just to get people excited" and it didn't miss. It should be interesting to see how the 3DS version and the Wii-U version can be connected with each other, if at all. By the looks of things, it's going to be a fun time for Nintendo.
