DK for sale
With the E-Shop catalog getting updated today, we welcome back an old friend, Donkey Kong. The Donkey Kong game released in 1994 and was playable on the Super Game Boy cartridge for the SNES. I still have this game and remember having a great time playing it. Mario is able to do some tricks that have stayed with him for quite some time since. He can triple jump, roll to the ground, and be able to perform a somersault type jump. These moves are similar to the N64 moves Mario has. Combine the new moves with the old school Donkey Kong mechanics and you have yourself a hit game to play on the Game Boy Color or the Super Game Boy. Getting to where DK has Pauline is even more fun in crazy locations like the desert or a Pirate Ship or an Air Plane. Having to collect a Key as well as Pauline's things give the player even more things to do and collecting all the items gives you access to a bonus stage for extra lives. The Music adds to the fun as this game has some of the best music for stages and they are very memorable. What Monkey doesn't go through a Jungle? DK is no different as one of the levels is indeed a Jungle. Even DK Jr. the forgotten Monkey makes an appearance to try and help "dear old Dad" take care of Mario but actually helps Mario. He's not dumb, he wants to be on the winning side. The Hammer from the original DK is back to help Mario get one of the girls he loves back from that Monkey. Another "come back "concept is being able to pick up the enemies like Super Mario Two. If you're looking for a fun time, I recommend this title. It could give you that extra bit of information you need to figure out the Mario Vs DK series better. Have fun taking DK down a peg or two!
