An Announcement

I have some minor housekeeping to take care of and what better place to do it than right here. First off I would appreciate it if guys and gals checked out my newest GamerHub Gone Blind video on my YouTube channel as well as GamerHub.TV. Second, I finally bought my capture card and web cam so in the near future my YouTube channel will have game play videos/let's play videos/ and whatever else I can think of. When I do figure out what the plans for that, I'll post that on Nintentofive as well as a schedule( If I decide to do scheduled videos/streams) but I'm getting way too ahead of myself here.

Just some thoughts on the weekend, I attended Play NYC, the first "solely video games" convention in the Big Apple and it was a huge success. It will be interesting to see how the convention evolves because there were couple of minor issues. I understand that Terminal 5 has that intimate setting that everyone is going for but everyone felt like they were on top of each other when they were trying to move from game to game. Also, it might be a good idea in the future to do like Pax does and have a Media only hour or two because it was tough to get to booths to play demo games, even when I had an appointment. Other than these, it was a rousing success and we will mourn the loss of one TV monitor that someone knocked off of a shelf on the 2nd floor! Shame too, he was three days from retirement!

Also the big news from the weekend was the Xbox One X pre-orders going live as well as the scalpers jacking up the price. They're out there, I've already seen the images on Twitter going around!When writing this, Gamestop on their web site had preorders available that ranged( Bundles) from 500 dollars to 800 dollars. This thing better be the "most powerful console ever at those prices!

I almost forgot the Pokemon World Championships were this weekend too. Maybe because I don't play Pokemon online professionally, I never really pay attention to it. Let's go back to the old days of the Mall Tours for the trading card game, me coming in 2nd in the Long Island mall tour and the Super Trainer Show Downs in New Jersey! I say I don't play professionally online because if you don't you will get destroyed out there!
